The second night of Kevin Atwater’s Blush Red Tour was nothing but exceptional. At San Francisco’s The Independent, Atwater opened his show with a heartfelt performance of I’m not where you’re at. The excitement of the crowd spread through the venue as the emotion of the lyrics took hold of everyone watching.
Throughout the show, Atwater’s setlist had the perfect mix of somber and upbeat vibes, keeping the crowd on their toes in anticipation as to what would come next. You could feel the emotional weight of each song, and as you looked around, you could tell each person felt the music deep inside them as well. It was one of those shows where the music really speaks for itself – you could just stand there with your eyes closed, swaying back and forth.
You could also tell he really cared about his audience. He took every opportunity to talk to the crowd and directly address what people were saying. I’m confident that everyone left the show in awe of his performance.
