The Only The Poets concert on April 24, 2026, at Niebo in Warsaw was one of those nights that right away showed just how close the band is with their Polish fans. From the first moment, it was clear this wasn’t going to be an ordinary gig. The setlist hit a sweet spot, mixing tracks from their debut album, “And I’d Do It Again,” with older songs from earlier EPs. That way, every fan had something to latch onto, no matter which phase of the band’s music they connected with most.
Tommy Lyon, the support act, did a solid job kicking things off and getting the crowd warmed up. When Only The Poets finally took the stage, the energy just shot through the roof. The show felt tight and well thought out from the lighting and sound to the simple but effective stage setup that kept the spotlight on the music and the emotions behind it. As usual, the Polish crowd didn’t hold back. They were loud and proud, singing along to almost every song, which gave the whole place an electric vibe. There was a moment when lead singer Tommy actually lost his voice, but instead of shutting things down, the audience stepped up and sang even louder. It was one of those spontaneous moments that made the night even more memorable, and you could tell it really boosted Tommy’s spirits.
One standout moment was when they covered “Teenage Dirtbag.” The crowd went wild, especially since the drummer, Marcus Yates, joined in on vocals for a part of the song. That kind of thing doesn’t happen every day, and it clearly brought a lot of joy to everyone there. Only The Poets have clearly had a soft spot for their Polish fans for years now. After the show, guitarist Clem Cherry put it into words: “Warszawa that was so fun. been a while since we’ve done a show out here and oh my you do not disappoint. can’t wait to come back again. kocham wasssss.” It’s pretty clear they truly appreciate their audience here and are always eager to return, no matter which city they’re playing. This gig was proof that Only The Poets aren’t just about putting on good shows, they create moments that stick with fans well after the last chord fades.
